Skoda Slavia
If you have been planning to bring home a premium sedan this month, you might have to shell out a bit more for the Skoda Slavia. Following the recent price revision of the Kylaq, Skoda Auto India has now increased the prices of its popular sedan, the Slavia. The price hike is selective across various trims, with some variants seeing an upward revision of over ₹33,000.
The price hike has most significantly impacted the premium and sportier versions of the sedan. The Monte Carlo edition, known for its distinct blacked-out aesthetics and feature-rich cabin, has witnessed the maximum increase.
The Slavia Monte Carlo 1.0 Automatic recorded the highest jump in the entire range, with a price increase of ₹33,690. Similarly, the performance-oriented 1.5-litre DSG variant of the Monte Carlo has also become dearer by ₹29,207.
While the higher trims saw significant hikes, the mid-spec Signature and Sportline variants received more modest revisions. Here is a quick breakdown of the price changes:
| Variant | Transmission | Price Hike (Approx.) |
| Monte Carlo 1.0 | Automatic | +₹33,690 |
| Monte Carlo 1.5 | DSG | +₹29,207 |
| Prestige 1.0 | Automatic | +₹27,690 |
| Sportline 1.5 | DSG | +₹25,897 |
| Prestige 1.5 | DSG | +₹23,207 |
| Signature 1.0 | Manual / Automatic | Up to +₹16,586 |
| Sportline 1.0 | Manual / Automatic | Up to +₹16,586 |
| Classic 1.0 | Manual | No Change |
Note: In a move to keep the entry-point accessible, Skoda has left the prices of the base Classic 1.0 Manual variant untouched.
Despite the price revision, the mechanical aspects of the Skoda Slavia remain unchanged. It continues to be powered by two reliable turbo-petrol engines:
Following this update, the Skoda Slavia is now priced between ₹10 lakh and ₹17.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
While the current model is getting pricier, there is excitement on the horizon. Skoda is currently testing a facelifted version of the Slavia, which is expected to debut later in 2026. The upcoming update is likely to bring refreshed styling and additional features to keep it competitive against rivals like the Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna, and Honda City.
